EYEBROW TRANSPLANT –AFTERCARE INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS
This leaflet provides general guidance on what to expect after your eyebrow transplant procedure. Healing varies from person to person, so please follow the instructions given by your clinical team.
Before you leave the hospital
You will be provided with aftercare advice and instructions before leaving the clinic.
Please ensure you understand how to clean the transplanted area and avoid touching the grafts.
General Informations
The transplanted eyebrow follicles are delicate during the early healing phase. Mild redness and small scabs may be visible.
The donor area may feel slightly tender.
- Mild swelling or redness around the eyebrows
- Small scabs around grafts
- Temporary itching during healing
- Mild tenderness in the donor area
- Clean the beard area gently according to your clinic instructions.
- Avoid rubbing or scratching the transplanted hairs.
- Avoid strong water pressure directly onto the grafts.
- Allow the area to air dry naturally.
Avoid strenuous exercise for approximately two weeks after surgery.
Light daily activities are generally acceptable.
Try to sleep on your back during the first few nights to avoid pressure on the eyebrows.
Most patients return to normal daily activities within a few days.

Hair Growth Timeline
- Weeks 6–8: Transplanted hairs may shed temporarily.
- Month 3: New eyebrow growth begins.
- Months 6–9: Density improves.

When to Seek Medical Advice
- Increasing redness or swelling
- Pus or discharge
- Persistent bleeding
- Severe pain
