Procedure Types

Also known as a minimal access brow lift, this method uses buried sutures to raise the outer brow, enhancing the upper face and eye area. Scars are minimal, hidden within the eyebrow or hairline, offering a less invasive option with subtle, natural results.

This technique involves removing a crescent of skin above the eyebrow, with the resulting scar typically hidden at the junction of the upper brow and skin. It provides reliable, long-lasting, and predictable results.

 

What to Expect

You can expect your eyebrows to be lifted, with initial overcorrection as some settling occurs over the first six months. A direct brow lift will leave scars along the brow line, which can take up to a year to fully settle, while thread lifts leave minimal scarring hidden in the hairline. Brow lifting also helps reduce hooding of the upper eyelids, enhancing a more youthful, alert appearance.

What are the risks?

The risks of a brow lift include bleeding, infection, and unpredictable scarring. Most scars heal well, but in some patients, redness can persist for up to 12 months. Thread lifts carry a small risk of temporary numbness in the hairline above the incisions. A slight asymmetry in brow position is also common and typically mild.
